A woman who sits in circles of women,  who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.

        The vision for this gathering is to cultivate  a  community of women who can draw from each other the unique strength and wisdom that we each hold.  It  is meant as a time to create bonds, and develop a  deeper reverence for our selves and one another.

This three day retreat will include; yoga, healthful food, sharing circles, children’s activities, circles of wisdom, campfires & song circles and time for relaxation and rejuvenation on the shores of Lake Superior.

The 4th Annual Women Circling Women’s Gathering will be held at the Holden Farm, at 2237 S. Amnicon River Road in South Range Wisconsin.

             A Cooperative Event 

Because this is a community event, each woman attending will be asked to participate in daily tasks to keep the event moving smoothly and make light work for all.

The Gathering is a time for sharing and renewal.  The richness of the gathering comes from the development of a supportive community over the three days and two nights we share together.  We strongly encourage everyone to commit to as much time as their schedules allow.  The more you are able to be present contributes to the strength of the community.

Being present the whole time allows for deepening friendships and the creation of a more lasting community.

We understand that not everyone can commit to 3 days (new babies, work, etc.), but committing to as much time as possible benefits the community and enriches your experience. 

                     A Note on Food 

Our goal is to provide fresh, homemade food for brunch and dinner each day.  We are going to try to accommodate people with food allergies.  However, if your list is extensive, please contact us.  We may need you to help with food planning or ask you to bring some supplemental food.

We're trying to make the gathering as inexpensive and uncomplicated as possible, therefore, we'll provide two main meals a day, plus a light breakfast, and ask that you provide whatever other food/snacks you and your children will need.

Please keep in mind that refrigerator/freezer space will be limited.  You are welcome to bring personal coolers filled with ice. 

           Registration Information

The 2009 Women Circling Women’s Gathering will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2009.

Check in will begin Tuesday at 2:00 PM.

Departure time will be Thursday at 3:00 PM.

 All women and children are welcome!

This Gathering is what we make it to be.  Every year the energy changes and the experiences are different.  We all bring beauty to the circle.  Please invite sisters, mothers, girlfriends, women of all ages.  The expanding of ages will deepen our experience together. 

Registration is important to the successful planning of this event and is due August 4, 2009!  The space is limited, so register early to guarantee your space.

To make this years' Gathering possible for everyone, we have several payment options.  We have a generous sliding scale, as well as work scholarships available.                   
 

Adults                                          $50-$90

Kids over 2 years old            $10

We want anyone to be able to attend regardless of resources, therefore, we've created a work exchange program.   But, there are limited work trade scholarships available for those needing financial help.  If you are in need of assistance, please get your registration in EARLY.
